Research and Equity Scholarship Institute on Student Trajectories in Education

HSI-STEM Servingness in Experiential Learning Survey (STEM-SEL Survey)

With a specific focus on two- and four-year Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), we are interested in understanding how experiential learning opportunities, such as undergraduate research experiences and work-based experiences, support students' success in STEM. The RESISTE STEM Servingness in Experiential Learning (STEM-SEL) survey explores several areas related to experiences in STEM experiential learning at HSIs, such as:

STEM Interest

Education and Career Aspirations

Science/STEM Identity

Engagement/interactions with peers, faculty, staff and industry professionals

Culturally responsive and sustaining practices

Mentorship

Collaboration

If you are a student participating in a STEM experiential learning program or activity at an HSI, please consider participating in our HSI-STEM Experiential Learning Survey.
